According to a report from 'Army Technology' on June 27, 2024, Norway, Sweden, and Finland have agreed on a new initiative to establish a military transport corridor in the north of these three countries. This initiative aims to speed up the transport of NATO forces' equipment and logistical supplies, enhancing defense efficiency in the Nordic region. As a response to Russia's expansion threat, European countries are actively seeking to establish similar systems for strengthening the transport of troops and resources.
