British number one Cameron Norrie expressed feeling 'devastated' after being defeated by Russian player Pavel Kotov in the first round of the French Open in five sets. This marks the first time since 2020 that Norrie failed to reach the second round of the tournament. Norrie is one of four Britons who lost in the first round of this year's French Open, with Katie Boulter and Dan Evans being the last two remaining in the singles draw.
