North Korea reported a successful test of a new significant technology, but South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff spokesperson in Seoul stated that the missile exploded in the early stage of flight and suggested that North Korean media may have fabricated launch photos. South Korea detected North Korea's latest missile test, which exploded after flying about 250 kilometers towards the East Sea. The missile was claimed to have a separating warhead that accurately hit three designated targets, aiming to achieve the capability of multiple warhead missiles that are difficult to intercept by missile defense systems.
