During the period from May 28 to June 9, North Korea floated 'garbage and feces bombs' equipped with timers and detonators towards South Korea four times. In retaliation, South Korean defector groups released 20 large balloons towards North Korea on June 20, containing USB drives, $1 bills, and anti-North Korea leaflets. The South Korean Unification Ministry recently announced the analysis results of over 70 'garbage balloons' that entered the country, revealing human feces, soil, and parasites like roundworms and whipworms. This escalates the tension on the Korean Peninsula amid increasing provocations from both sides.
