Northern Data AG is exploring the possibility of conducting a US initial public offering for its combined artificial intelligence cloud computing and data center businesses with a potential valuation of up to $16 billion. The company is in talks with advisers and could list its cloud computing activities and data centers on the Nasdaq in the first half of next year. Northern Data may also sell a minority stake in the unit to investors before the listing.
