On June 15, Police Day, the NPA Director's Office announced the second phase of streamlining operations to improve the well-being of police colleagues. By simplifying anti-fraud operations, reducing evaluations, lowering standards, and focusing on targeted fraud awareness, the workload is significantly lightened, aiming to enhance efficiency. Director Chang Rongxing aims to make police work more streamlined, efficient, and supportive of a healthier work-life balance for colleagues. Taipei City Councilor Lin Zhenyu praised Director Chang for genuinely caring for frontline officers by cancelling unnecessary performance evaluations, addressing concerns raised earlier by Lin. Since taking office on May 23, Director Chang's continuous efforts in improvement have garnered praise from the grassroots, demonstrating NPA's commitment to enhancing work efficiency and officers' well-being for societal security and public safety.
