Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored two power-play goals as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Dallas Stars 3-1 in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final, taking a 3-2 series lead and moving within one win of reaching the Stanley Cup Final. The Oilers capitalized on their limited power-play opportunities, with Nugent-Hopkins scoring quickly after penalties in both the first and second periods. Stuart Skinner made 19 saves for Edmonton, while Philip Broberg also scored for the Oilers.
