As the demand for artificial intelligence (AI) chips rapidly expands in the market, the global semiconductor industry is intensifying its competition for talent. Recent data from LinkedIn revealed that NVIDIA has hired 515 employees from Samsung Electronics, while Samsung has recruited 278 employees from NVIDIA and 195 employees from TSMC. Despite Samsung's efforts, NVIDIA remains the biggest winner in the talent acquisition game. The competition extends to other players like SK Hynix and Micron, with employees jumping ship to NVIDIA. In this people battle, Samsung seems to have the upper hand against other rivals, recruiting more talents from companies like Intel, Micron, and TSMC.
