Reported 8 months ago

A new report by INRIX Inc. shows that New York City has been ranked as the most congested urban area globally for the second consecutive year, resulting in estimated losses of $9.1 billion due to traffic congestion. The report highlights that NYC motorists lost 101 hours in traffic during peak commuting times in 2023, the highest among nearly 1,000 cities worldwide. The congestion problem extends to other US cities like Los Angeles and Boston, with congestion seen as a barometer of economic activity post-COVID.
