NYC Transit President Is Leaving to Head Massachusetts Port Authority

New York City Transit President Rich Davey is leaving his position to head the Massachusetts Port Authority, overseeing Boston's Logan International Airport with an annual base salary of $420,000. Davey, who worked to improve service reliability and ridership in New York's subways and buses, is set to start his new role by September 9. Janno Lieber, the MTA's CEO, expressed excitement for Davey's return to Boston, while Demetrius Crichlow will step in as the MTA's interim president of transit.
