Barack Obama has privately expressed concerns about Joe Biden's campaign performance, leading Polymarket bettors to give a 55% chance of Biden dropping out of the Presidential race. The Washington Post reported Obama's worries after a poor debate performance by Biden, with indications that Democratic party bosses are preparing for a scenario where Biden pulls out, potentially leading to Vice President Kamala Harris becoming the nominee. Polymarket bets predict a 31% chance for Harris as the Democratic nominee and a 13% chance for her to win the presidential election, while Biden has a 16% chance. Over $211 million has been bet on the general presidential election and nearly $10 million on Biden dropping out.
