In New Taipei City's Tucheng District, an off-duty police officer reported gunshots on the evening of June 13, but Tucheng Station's response was delayed. The suspect fled to Xindian and was apprehended by local police; a modified handgun and bullets were found in the suspect's car. The suspect, a 25-year-old man, had fired three shots after a dispute, before fleeing to Xindian where he was caught. The case is now under legal proceedings.
