In Tainan City on June 27, 2024, a car rental and sales shop had a Porsche for sale at nearly ten million, with a second-hand market value of nearly six million, rented by a young man from Yunlin for 3 days to test drive before purchasing. However, he disappeared after the rental period ended, leading the shop to offer a reward of 268,000 yuan to find the now red Porsche, previously gray, with altered license plates and car body number concealed with paper. The shop is concerned the high-value car may be dismantled for parts. The man even requested an extension on the rental period but stopped responding when the shop declined, prompting the dealership to threaten legal action. CCTV footage captured him signing the rental agreement. The shop urges the public to help locate the missing luxury vehicle.
