On June 25, 2024, at 4:27 am, there was a shocking incident in the Legislative Yuan, as an official collapsed. Earlier today, the director of the Department of Agriculture's Water Testing Institute suddenly fainted in the lobby of the Legislative Yuan's Zhongxing Building, losing breath and heartbeat momentarily. An ambulance rushed to the scene and transported the individual to Taipei General Hospital for emergency treatment. The incident occurred around 1:28 pm when the 58-year-old official was preparing for a meeting at the Legislative Yuan. Security guards immediately performed CPR and used an AED for resuscitation, successfully reviving the person before being taken to the hospital.
