Oil Prices Increase Amid Middle East Conflict Concerns

Reported 3 months ago

Oil prices rose in early Asian trading following the assassination of a Hamas leader in Iran, raising fears of a broader Middle East conflict. Brent crude futures gained 67 cents to $81.51 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate rose 69 cents to $78.60 per barrel.
