Oil prices saw a slight increase after reaching lowest levels since October 1 due to increased diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict in Lebanon. Brent crude settled at $71.12 per barrel, and West Texas Intermediate at $67.21. Despite a short-lived recovery, demand concerns, particularly from China, continued to affect prices. The U.S. plans to cut interest rates might also influence future oil demand.
