Reported 11 months ago

A recent incident occurred in Kaohsiung Port where the 28,000-ton oil tanker 'Tongyun No.' collided with a breakwater upon departure, resulting in a large hole in the hull. Fortunately, no oil leakage has been reported so far. The tanker, carrying oil products, was inspected and deemed safe before being granted emergency entry into the port and is currently docked without any oil spill incidents. However, investigations are ongoing to determine responsibility, with measures being taken to prevent potential pollution in the port area.
