Omnicom Group has announced its acquisition of Interpublic Group in an all-stock deal that will reshape the advertising landscape, creating the world's largest ad company with a combined revenue exceeding $20 billion. Under the terms, Omnicom shareholders will hold 60.6% of the new entity, which will continue to trade under the Omnicom name on the New York Stock Exchange. This strategic merger aims to leverage combined data and technology to better serve clients and is expected to yield $750 million in cost synergies. The deal is slated to close in the second half of 2025.
