In a recent crackdown by the Criminal Investigation Bureau in Taiwan, 3 sellers were arrested for online scams, where they pretended to sell concert tickets and game consoles to deceive victims into making payments. However, instead of receiving the promised items, victims ended up with potato chips. A total of 195 people fell victim to this scam, resulting in a loss of 1.15 million yuan. The police urge the public to be cautious when purchasing items online and to use secure payment methods on legitimate platforms to avoid falling for such scams.
