OPEC+ to Increase Oil Production Starting October

Reported about 22 hours ago

OPEC+ is expected to agree to an increase in oil output starting in October, although the pace of increase may be slower due to declining global demand. The group plans to raise production by approximately 135,000 to 140,000 barrels per day, unwinding previous cuts made ahead of schedule. Despite recent increases, oil prices remain stable, supported by sanctions on Russia and Iran. Analysts suggest that only a few member countries have the capacity to boost production significantly.
