Orion Minerals of Australia has entered a non-binding agreement with Glencore for funding between $200 million and $250 million for its Prieska copper-zinc project in South Africa. The deal includes an offtake agreement to sell all zinc and copper concentrates from the mine over five to ten years. Funding will be provided in two tranches, with the first set to be drawn in November, helping the company initiate production and generate cash flow.
