The Executive Yuan proposed a reconsideration of the 'Parliament Reform Bill,' with the Legislative Yuan expected to convene a full committee on the 19th and 20th, inviting Premier Su Tseng-chang to explain and answer questions, and to have a roll call vote on the 21st. Amidst the high-decibel provocation of the DPP for a showdown to overthrow the cabinet, most KMT legislators have taken a more conservative stance, labeling the dissolution of the parliament as a DPP 'plot'. DPP insiders believe that in the 2024 legislative elections, due to third-party candidates splitting the green camp votes, discontent with DPP rule, and several other factors, the DPP may become a minority party in Congress.
