Lin stated that according to the logic of the National Taiwan Affairs Office, all citizens participating in presidential elections would be considered 'Taiwan independence' supporters, deeming the Communist Party's actions 'extremely absurd.' Lin further emphasized the disregard for Taiwan's existence and people's autonomous right to choose, warning of the severity of the death penalty sentence possibility. He highlighted the real threat to Taiwan's sovereignty comes from the Communist Party and expressed concerns about potential arrests and border questioning. Lin also identified a new crisis in democracy stemming from collusion between the Kuomintang and the Democratic Progressive Party, neglecting the importance of national sovereignty.
