On June 10, 2024, Associate Professor Chien-Ting Yin from the Department of Computer Science at Chung Yuan Christian University led students to participate in the 8th International Conference on Medical and Health Informatics held in Yokohama, Japan. The students excelled, with Lu Li-Ting and Chang Yi-Jou winning first place in the Student Essay Prize Competition's university category, Peng Kang-Hsuan and Hsu Ying-Chi ranking second in the same category, Yen Chia-Pin and Yang Tzu-Fang ranking third, and Master's student Chang Nai-Yuan achieving first place in the Master's category. In recent years, CYCU's CS department has been focusing on artificial intelligence and big data, offering various courses and support for students to participate in national and international competitions, applying their knowledge to AI-related fields, and enhancing students' technical innovation and research spirit.
