A snake, suspected to be a python, was found inhabiting a rented home in Puli Township, Nantou County, where it left behind food scraps and a complete shed skin. The discovery alarmed the tenants who had not visited the place for some time, leading them to contact firefighters for help in removing the unexpected guest. The non-venomous pet snake had likely been residing in the home for at least half a month. Pythons are known for their small size, lack of aggression, and popularity as pets among the public.
