At least 19 people in Minnesota have fallen ill due to E. coli linked to a national recall of over 167,000 pounds of ground beef from Wolverine Packing Co. The recall was initiated after a sample tested positive for E. coli O157:H7, with four individuals hospitalized, including cases of serious complications like kidney failure. The affected beef was served at local restaurants, and the illnesses occurred from November 2 to November 14. The investigation is ongoing as health officials warn of the serious risks associated with E. coli infection.
