According to a survey by the Asia-Pacific Elite Exchange Association, over 60% of people support the reconsideration case for a parliamentary reform bill for parliamentary authority. However, 55.1% of the public is unaware of the content of the amendment. The survey also indicates that even supporters of the Kuomintang and the People's Party are almost equally divided on supporting and opposing reconsideration. The survey results reflect the public's dissatisfaction with past legislative practices and emphasize the need for more dialogue and procedural adherence in the reform process to uphold democratic values. The survey conducted from June 12 to June 13 involved 1139 adults aged 20 and above across 22 counties and cities nationwide, with a margin of error of +/- 2.9%.
