Due to the impact of industries such as technology, real estate, and tutoring reducing recruitment, college graduates in China are facing an increasingly challenging job market. As of mid-April, over half of college graduates had not secured employment. Only 47.8% of graduates received job offers, a decrease of 2.6 percentage points from the same period in 2023. Factors such as increased government regulation in various industries have contributed to the decline in job opportunities for graduates. The demand for stable jobs in state-owned enterprises is increasing, while interest in private enterprises is waning among graduates.
