Xiao's Mansion in Neipu Township, Pingtung County, known for being both a restaurant and a rabbit adoption center in Taiwan, faced multiple reports recently, resulting in potential fines of 50,000 to 250,000 NT dollars for violations of animal performance laws. The owners, Xiao and his wife, expressed disappointment on Facebook, stating they might stop caring for the 400 abandoned rabbits if the situation continues. Despite facing previous challenges during the pandemic, the couple continues to be supported by rabbit enthusiasts urging them to persevere against the complaints.
