Procter & Gamble has decided to terminate its contract with FedEx Supply Chain for managing its distribution center in Lima, Ohio, leading to the layoffs of 63 workers by the end of October. The change comes as P&G opts for a new logistics provider, although FedEx anticipates that many of its affected employees may be offered positions by the new vendor. This layoff follows another recent job cut by FedEx Supply Chain at a facility in Memphis, Tennessee.
