Procter & Gamble (P&G), the maker of Tide detergent, is considering raising prices on household products if new tariffs imposed by the Trump administration increase import costs. CFO Andre Schulten indicated that the company will first attempt to offset these costs through operational efficiencies before resorting to higher consumer prices. P&G has maintained stable prices while dealing with rising costs in recent years and has invested significantly in U.S. manufacturing to strengthen its supply chain.
