Panthers kicker Eddy Pineiro is not attending OTAs as he pursues a new contract.

Reported 6 months ago

Carolina Panthers kicker Eddy Pineiro is skipping OTAs while seeking a new contract despite being signed through 2024-25. Pineiro, who has the third-highest field-goal percentage in NFL history, is looking for a raise above his current $2.5 million salary, which ranks 21st among kickers. The absence has not been addressed by new head coach Dave Canales, with rookie Harrison Mevis filling in during practices and Pineiro training independently.
