The 'Paper Windmill 368 Towns Children's Art Project' concluded its final two performances in Wanjung Township and Shoufeng Township in Hualien County over the weekend. Starting in 2014, after a decade of touring, the project successfully completed its mission in all 13 townships of Hualien County. The initiative aims to bring performing arts to every town in Taiwan, with 7 more townships targeted for completion by October this year as the third round of the project begins. The last two performances in Hualien, originally scheduled for April, were delayed due to the earthquake in April but were supported by various sponsors including Hualien County Mei Chin Friends Association led by Vice President Hsiao Me-Chin. The successful events received support from local authorities and volunteers, showcasing collaborative efforts. Vice President Hsiao emphasized the importance of art education for children, fostering confidence and courage through such cultural activities.
