Paramount Global has reportedly agreed to pay President Donald Trump $16 million to resolve his lawsuit regarding a CBS interview with Kamala Harris, in which Trump claimed the footage was deceitfully edited. Initially seeking $20 billion, Trump's lawsuit was viewed by some Paramount executives as an obstacle to the company's acquisition by Skydance. The settlement amount will be directed to Trump's future presidential library after expenses are deducted, though the announcement did not include an apology.
