A survey conducted by educational institution Glory Seminar targeting parents of children in grades 1 to 3 in junior high schools and high schools revealed that over 90% of participants prioritize their children being able to showcase hobbies or special talents rather than income when considering their future careers. The survey, conducted in early to mid-September 2023, received 2836 valid responses. The majority of parents have discussed their children's future careers, with timing mostly during daily conversations or when choosing educational paths or post-graduation opportunities. High school parents showed a higher percentage of children actively working towards career goals. Overall, parents across all education levels value showcasing personal talents the most when it comes to their children's future careers.
