Tamia and Tim Woods, a couple from Ohio, tragically lost their 17-year-old son after he fell victim to a sextortion scam on Instagram, receiving over 200 messages within 19 hours. The parents, now advocates for raising awareness on sextortion, revealed the dangers of this growing online crime affecting children and adults. They founded the James Woods Foundation to combat not only sextortion but also issues like rape, molestation, harassment, cyberbullying, and suicide, aiming to protect vulnerable youth and prevent such tragedies.
