Starting this year, public kindergartens in Taipei City provide summer care services with an additional cost of up to two thousand NT dollars per month. However, 13 kindergartens and 14 elementary schools have halted their summer extended care services due to campus renovation projects, leaving many parents in a dilemma. The Education Bureau assures to assist in referring students to other schools, but the sudden closure of services has caused significant concern for working parents during the two-month summer break.
