Paris Olympics and Paralympics to be Broadcasted by 4 Major Platforms

On June 17, 2024, at 12:00 PM, according to the Youth Daily, the 2024 Paris Olympics will start on July 27, Taiwan time, lasting for 17 days, followed by the Paris Paralympics beginning on August 28. In the countdown of 40 days, Central China Telecom, ELTA TV, Public Television Service, and CTV will jointly provide over 2500 hours of coverage for the Olympics and Paralympics, allowing viewers nationwide to support the Chinese team from anywhere. Central China Telecom, which has been broadcasting Olympics for five consecutive editions, is among the leading platforms this year, offering the most live hours (some in 4K quality), introducing innovative technologies like AR and super slow-motion perspectives, creating a new viewing experience for viewers. ELTA TV will have over 500 hours of Chinese commentary with a team of nearly 100 broadcasters and 50 professional anchors to provide clear coverage and keep up with the fast-paced Olympic events. The Paris Olympics and Paralympics will be broadcasted consecutively by four major platforms in the country, welcoming viewers to cheer for the Chinese athletes.
