Paris Olympics Athletes Village Too Hot, Taiwan Prepares Mobile Air Conditioners Following the Lead of the United States

Reported 8 months ago

In preparation for the upcoming Paris Olympics, the Taiwanese government has arranged for mobile air conditioners to ensure a comfortable environment for athletes staying at the Olympic Village. Despite Paris's claims that the rooms can stay cool without air conditioning through cooling pipes under the floor and electric fans, the United States and other countries' Olympic committees plan to bring their own air conditioning. Taiwan's Premier Su Tseng-chang visited the National Training Center and emphasized the importance of preparing air conditioning units due to the high local temperatures in Paris, focusing on athletes' recovery. Su will also report to President Tsai Ing-wen on the arrangements to ensure athletes have proper accommodations and nutrition during the games.
