However, 8 national teams including the US, UK, and Canada have stated they will bring their own air conditioning units to Paris. The village features eco-friendly materials and cardboard beds, with the rooms not equipped with air conditioning but only provided with electric fans. Despite efforts to reduce carbon emissions, concerns arise as the hot summer climate and extreme conditions prompt many athletes to prepare for the games with air conditioning equipment.
