Paris Olympics to Deploy 30,000 Police Officers and 18,000 Soldiers for Security, Largest Military Mobilization in France Since WWII

During the Paris Olympics, there will be 30,000 police officers deployed daily for security, with 4.5万 officials on the opening day, along with snipers, elite units such as the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group, RAID, and BRI. Additionally, 18,000 soldiers will be supporting security, making it the largest military mobilization on French soil since the end of WWII. Security concerns include terrorism threats, environmental activists, left-wing extremists, and pro-Palestinian activities. Athletes will travel by 94 boats on the Seine River for about 6 kilometers during the opening ceremony, accompanied by 35 security boats, snipers, and special forces teams.
