British diving star Tom Daley, who had semi-retired after winning gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the men's synchronized 10m platform, decided to make a comeback for the 2024 Paris Olympics after a visit to the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum reignited his passion for diving. Encouraged by his son Ronnie's wish to see him dive at the Olympics, Daley is now training tirelessly with his coach despite the challenges of being based in different continents. As a prominent LGBTQ+ advocate, Daley hopes to use this opportunity to champion equality issues while aiming to win his fifth Olympic medal in Paris.
