International martial arts superstar Donnie Yen's stunt double, Chinese parkour veteran Zhang Lei, reportedly passed away on June 12 due to a heart disease at the age of 39. Zhang Lei, who was also active in promoting parkour sports, particularly worked as Yen's stunt double in films like 'October Siege' and 'Chen Zhen', playing a significant role in showcasing parkour in cinema. Beijing Extreme Sports Association confirmed his death, attributing it to heart disease. Zhang Lei's contributions to promoting parkour in China and his collaborations in film and television were also highlighted.
