Speaker of the Legislative Yuan, Han Kuo-yu, convened a discussion between the government and opposition on revisiting the parliament reform bill, where it was agreed upon to hold full house committee meetings on June 19 and 20 to invite Premier Chiu Jung-tai for an explanation, followed by a vote on the revisiting bill on June 21. The legislators collaboratively discussed the bills proposed by the Executive Yuan to revise sections of the Legislative Yuan Powers Exercise Act and add a new chapter and article to the Criminal Code, appointing members from various party caucuses for questioning during the review process.
