Parliament Reform Sparks Controversy! Latest Satisfaction Survey of Legislators Shows Blue Party Leading with 39%, While Members of 'This Party' Rank the Lowest

On June 18, 2024, a TVBS survey revealed the public's satisfaction with legislators from the three major political parties in Taiwan. The survey showed that the Kuomintang (KMT) received the highest support at 39%, followed by the People First Party (PFP) at 35% and the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) at the bottom with 33%. The survey also indicated a shift in public opinion compared to previous surveys, with the KMT showing an increase in satisfaction and the DPP experiencing a decrease. Overall, satisfaction levels with legislators across all parties were low and lower than dissatisfaction levels.
