On June 21, 2024, the Legislative Yuan conducted a roll call vote on the Executive Yuan's two motions for review regarding amendments to the Parliament's powers, including modifications to certain articles in the Legislative Power Exercise Act and the Criminal Code. With a numerical advantage, sixty-two legislators voted in favor to maintain the original decision of the Parliament, opposing the review, while fifty-one voted to support the review, resulting in the rejection of the motions. The review process involved an early announcement of the voting results by Legislative Yuan President Han Kuo-yu after all 113 legislators completed their voting, showing support from both the blue and green camps and featuring live streams of the voting process and enthusiastic responses from Nationalist Party legislators.
