Under blue-white cooperation, the Legislative Yuan today rejected the reconsideration of the Executive Yuan's parliamentary power amendment by 62 to 51, prompting the DPP to threaten another constitutional interpretation and prolong the battle. In response, KMT Chairman Chu Li-lun stated that if the DPP continues to oppose reform and confront public opinion, the KMT must continue to show our determination for reform nationwide. The KMT will firmly push forward important bills like extending nuclear power, oppose abolishing the death penalty, and stand with the public, contrasting the DPP's stance on these issues.
