Following the recent third reading passage of the Legislative Yuan's exercise of powers law and amendments to certain articles of the Criminal Code, the Executive Yuan submitted a reconsideration proposal. After a process that included a moment of tension between DPP Legislative Yuan caucus secretary-general Chuang Jui-Hsiung and Legislative Yuan President Han Kuo-yu over remarks, the ruling party convened a meeting on June 13 to handle the agenda. A consensus was ultimately reached, with a decision to hold a full house committee meeting on June 19 and 20, inviting KMT's Chiu Yi to report and be interrogated, with both the blue and green camps each assigning 11 members, and the TPP assigning 2 for questioning, followed by a plenary session vote on the 21st.
