The Parliamentary Reform Act is expected to take effect tomorrow as the Kuomintang caucus leader, Fu Kun-chi, expressed intentions to discuss with the Taiwan People First Party legislative caucus and jointly invite President Lai Ching-te to the Legislative Yuan for a national report, possibly extending the invite as early as the 26th. Despite uncertainties about establishing an investigative committee, Fu emphasized the significance of the President's report. The Act was signed by Lai Ching-te on the 24th, marking its official announcement before its effective date on the 26th.
