On June 20, 2024, ahead of the parliamentary showdown on the 21st, the sample ballots for the parliamentary reform bill's reconsideration vote were revealed. Each legislator will cast their vote of approval or disapproval on the ballots, with indications suggesting that the reconsideration proposed by the Executive Yuan will likely be rejected. The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Secretary-General expressed that if the reconsideration does not pass, the next step would be to propose a constitutional interpretation.
